Streatham Clinic
Our Approach to Dermal Fillers
At our Streatham clinic, dermal fillers are used to refine and enhance features in a controlled, natural-looking way.
For some, this means subtly enhancing areas such as the lips or jawline. For others, it’s about addressing early changes before they become more noticeable.
Common requests include:
- Lips with slightly more shape or fullness, while still looking natural.
- A more defined jawline or chin.
- Subtle improvements in facial balance.
- Smoothing early lines before they become more established.
- Reducing areas that create a tired or drawn look.
- Small adjustments that make features feel more polished.
- To add subtle definition and support overall facial balance.
To achieve a balanced, natural-looking result, we usually start conservatively, using a smaller amount to see how it settles and feels. If you would prefer a more noticeable change, this can be discussed during your appointment and adjusted to suit your expectations.
For those who would like to understand the treatment in more detail, including how dermal fillers work and which areas can be treated, you can read our guide to dermal fillers.

Consultation & Procedure
Your first step is a consultation with nurse Natasha.
During your consultation, the conversation centres on what you have started to notice, the features you may want to refine, and whether dermal fillers are the right approach for you.
You will have the time and space to ask questions, and decide what feels right without any pressure.
When dermal fillers are not the best fit, or your main concern is skin quality, hydration or texture, nurse Natasha may also discuss treatments such as polynucleotides, Profhilo or Kiara Skin Booster.
If everything looks appropriate and you are happy to proceed, nurse Natasha can usually carry out the procedure during the same appointment.
We begin with photographs and careful mapping of the treatment areas.
The actual procedure is performed in a controlled, precise manner, with ongoing assessment throughout.

Comfort & Safety
Most patients find dermal filler treatment manageable. We can apply numbing cream where needed. Lip treatments are more sensitive, so additional numbing techniques may be used. Many fillers also contain a local anaesthetic to improve comfort.
Your safety is always prioritised, with close monitoring during treatment and prompt support if any concerns arise.
We follow up the next day to check how you are feeling and answer any questions. In case of corrections or unwanted side effects.
“Most of our Streatham patients don’t want to look visibly altered and overfilled. They want to look smart and defined, achieving natural, balanced features .”
